About.

Growing up I was a weird spacey kid who couldn't put the pieces together. All I knew was that I was different and had trouble relating to people. I went to a small Christian school where I was shown a video called Hell's Bells that docuented the evils of rock and roll music. It didn't quite have the desired affect; I was in love. I realized that music was the medium I could use to relate to people. I could use music and they would understand.

That summer I purchased my first guitar and spent relentless hours teaching myself Don McLean's American Pie. For me, learning guitar was like learning to speak.

Music gave me the confidence and ability to interact with crowds of people I otherwise would be silent in. The words I don't say are clear in every song I write.
